About the Journal

The East African Journal of Neurological Surgeons (EAJNS) will be the official journal of the East African Association of Neurological Surgeons (EAANS). This journal will have its editorial office based at the department of Surgery, University of Nairobi, and will have quarterly issues (January, April, July and October issues).

Aim and scope

The East African Journal of Neurological Surgeons (EAJNS) aims at publishing original research on clinical and experimental neurosurgery, clinical neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuroradiology, neuropathology, neuro-otology, neuro-oncology and molecular biology. Other manuscripts that will be accepted include technical notes on instruments or equipment that are innovative or useful to clinicians and researchers in the field of neuroscience; case reports; case series; manuscripts on historical persons or events related to neurological surgeons especially in Africa; reviews and letters to the Editor commenting on articles recently published in the journal.
